Brown and Hurley operate a state of the art training centre facility located next to the Brown and Hurley dealership in Yatala, Qld. With a dedicated full time Technical Trainer delivering training for today’s and tomorrow’s equipment. The training centre replicates our workshop environments and has the latest truck components on hand.
The training facility houses Cummins engines (including the latest ISX EGR & E5 Signature), PACCAR MX-13 Engines, Eaton Transmissions, Meritor & Dana final drives (including SISU axles). Training is also carried out to Master Level on Kenworth & DAF trucks covering, air brake, steering, suspension, electrical & fuel system diagnostics.
Brown and Hurley has an average of 60 apprentices and 100 trained technicians across 9 branches. Each year the Training Centre delivers approximately 35 courses to maintain staff skill levels on current and new product.
This investment into a purpose designed training facility is a further commitment to Brown and Hurley’s long term philosophy of putting profits back into the business and to offer our customers a higher level of service.
