6 new DAF CF85 Space Cab Prime Movers are joining the 70 plus DAF truck fleet of Lindsay Transport, with a further 10 being delivered late 2019.
Lindsay’s have been continuously updating their PUD, Depot, Rigid and Single fleet with DAF trucks since late 2015, and this is the latest line up of new additions.
The trucks are being put straight out to work on the East Coast in line-haul single trailer applications.
Established in 1953 as Lindsay Brothers Transport, Lindsay Transport, a Division of Lindsay Australia, has grown to become one of Australia’s largest transport companies.
Delivering more than 1.6 million tonnes of freight to over 5,000 customers around the whole of Australia each year, Lindsay Transport has earned its reputation as a respected refrigerated transport company.
Brown & Hurley Coffs Harbour Dealer Principal, Graham Sebbens says: “We have had a business partnership with Lindsay’s for over 40 years and we are proud to be a partner in providing trucks, parts and service solutions for their transport requirements.”
Rob Dummer, GM Operations Lindsay Transport, explains;
“These new DAF trucks are for our single trailer line haul operations and will integrate into our DAF fleet of PUD, Intrastate and Rigid combinations.”
“We are extremely happy with DAF trucks. They have proven to be very cost effective, have very good fuel economy and excellent driver acceptance. They fit our needs nicely and are doing the job well.”
Rob continues; “We have been dealing with Brown & Hurley for a long time and they continue to provide good service and products for our needs. They are responsive and diligent, and that’s the way we deal with our customers.
I can see DAF trucks being part of our fleet for a long time”
